Emma and Jordan’s wedding day at Wentbridge House was nothing short of magical. Bathed in glorious sunshine, the atmosphere was full of excitement, love, and laughter from start to finish.
The day began with anticipation in the air as guests took their seats in the beautiful ceremony space. Jordan waited patiently at the front, clearly full of emotion. The ceremony began with a truly sweet moment: their daughter Grace carefully walked down the aisle, gently scattering petals as she went, her concentration and care melting everyone’s hearts. She set the tone perfectly for the entrance that followed.
Emma appeared moments later, absolutely glowing in her stunning gown. As she made her way down the aisle, her dress — full of elegance and movement — accidentally swept into a few of the vases lining the aisle, toppling them over in a light-hearted moment that had guests smiling and whispering fondly. It was a perfectly imperfect start to a ceremony that felt real, warm, and full of love.
The ceremony itself was beautiful, with poems, dancing, and even a special ring given to Grace, symbolising the bond they all share as a family. That moment especially stood out, a quiet, emotional gesture that said so much without words.
After the vows, we headed out into the breathtaking gardens of Wentbridge House for group photos in the sunshine. The setting was perfect — lush greenery, elegant architecture, and laughter all around. One of my favourite moments was photographing Emma and Jordan on the swing hanging from the tree, a whimsical, romantic touch that felt like something from a storybook.
Then came the confetti and wow, what a shot! Surrounded by all-natural dried petals, the air not only looked magical but smelled incredible, adding a sensory layer to a moment already bursting with joy.
The celebrations continued with a relaxed afternoon tea, as guests chatted and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. When it came time for me to leave, the garden was still buzzing with love and laughter — a true testament to how special the day had been.
Emma and Jordan, thank you for letting me be part of your wedding story. It was an honour to capture these moments for you and your beautiful family. Wishing you all a lifetime of love and laughter.
What was the best part of your day?
One of the best parts of our day was the morning getting ready in our room, listening to the record player. It felt calm, intimate, and really grounding before all the excitement kicked in.
Why did you choose your wedding venue?
We chose Wentbridge House because it had such a classy, timeless feel — and the grounds are just stunning for photos.
What advice would you give to other couples planning their wedding?
Our biggest piece of advice? Enjoy every minute — it really does go by so quickly.
Is there anything that you would have done differently?
If we could do one thing differently, we’d go on our honeymoon straight after the wedding breakfast.
